Plot Summary 

A Very Pirate Musical follows the story of a young pirate captain who is on a desperate search for treasure. She works with a crew of loyal mates to search the seas, who are deathly afraid of the underwater world. Because they know very little about the ocean, despite living on a pirate ship, they unknowingly pollute the ocean and creatures who live in it on their journey to find treasure. The sea creatures, who are suffering from the pirates carelessness, are too afraid of the surface to confront them and stop the pollution. Eventually the brave pirate Calico inspires the crew of pirates to face their fears and explore the ocean. When pirates and sea creatures meet, they are wary at first, but eventually communicate and work through their issues. The sea creatures explain to the pirates the they have been polluting their ocean and the pirates are shocked that their actions had this effect. In a heartwarming end scene, the pirates help the sea creatures clean up their home and prove that people really can grow and learn from their mistakes!
